I am Pinky Guchhait , a Dancer , Teacher and Choreographer. 

I persuaded my training in Dance from Bharatnatyam Dance Teacher Smt.Jhinook Mukherjee for 15years under her able guidance. Presently I am undergoing training under the guidance of Bharatanatyam guru ,Smt. Sujatha Ramalingam and Shri Tanay Halder. I have also attended various workshops conducted by renowned Artists like Shri Baivab Arekar, Smt. Leela Samson, Smt. Laxmi Ramaswamy etc. I have also learnt Rabindranritya, Indian folk dances .

I had assisted my dance teacher, Smt.  Jhinook Mukherjee Sinha in her institution,South Kolkata Nrityangan and in South Point School for 7 years and 4 years respectively and presently I am successfully running my own dance school named Kalagriham, from last 2 years.I am working as a co-founder and teacher of this institution. I am also working as a Teacher in a CBSE affiliated school named, Jyotirmoy Public School since April 2016. In this organisation I have choreographed in the annual programmes and in several cultural events for last 4 consecutive years, I have choreographed in  cultures events of other organizations as well.

I have been performing in various prestigious festivals and conferences for last 7 years all over India. Some of the programmes were published in renowned newspapers such as The Telegraph, The Statesman, Ananda bazar Patrika, Bortoman , Songbad Pratidin etc. some are also telecasted in well-known TV channels such as Dooradarshan, Star Jalsa, DD News etc.

I bagged the first position and Best Competitor Award in All India Dance and Music Competition, organised by Murari Smriti Sangeet Sammilani, selected as one of the top 4 finalists in a Dance competition organised by Ananda bazar Patrika, achieved first position and received Talent hunt Winner Award 2017, in Apurva Prativa Mahotsov 2017.

I have received National Dance Excellency Award, Nritya Ananya Award 2018, Nritya Kakakar Award, Best Choreographer Award ,Best Faculty Award from different organizations and Institutions.
